Tuesday, February the 19: the Fabolous CAPPON MAGRO!


This is a regional dish from Liguria. The Cappon Magro (magro means "lean") is one those "smart" dishes served for Lent, when we are suppose to fast or, at least, to not eat meat.
There is no meat in this dish, as you can see above and below:


No meat: just a profusion of vegetables and sea food dresses with their renowned Pesto.
